oh no you're missing 3 totally unremarkable players for a game against a Championship team, how will you cope?!!

We knocked liverpool out without any of those 3 starting so it's no excuse if we can't do the same to Coventry.

it's the fact that maguire is our only "fit" centerback that's the issue. and even he picked up a knock against bournemouth and missed some training this week as a result

We know there's a problem with the medical personnel at United, with so many players out for months at a time so it's a case of suck it up and get on with it. There's a maximum of 8 games in the next 5 weeks. :shrug

It is what it is, but my point is one semi-fit centerback is still one semi-fot centerback, no matter the club

Doesn't matter who you play at CB the way you concede chances tbf.

Agreed, but we've got League games on Wednesday and Saturday too, so no point crying about it.

Hasn't McTominay played at CB for Scotland? Assuming he is fit, he could do a job there.

If we beat Coventry tomorrow it'll be the 5th visit to Wembley for ten Hag's United, which on the face of it looks pretty good.

Coventry v Man Utd (15:30 BST)

Harry Maguire is Manchester United's only fit centre-back so Casemiro will join him in defence today.

United make just one change from their 2-2 draw with Bournemouth, with Scott McTominay replacing the injured Willy Kambwala.

Man Utd XI: Onana, Dalot, Maguire, Casemiro, Wan-Bissaka, McTominay, Mainoo, Garnacho, Fernandes, Rashford, Hojlund.

Coventry City make two changes from the side who were hammered 3-0 at Birmingham City last weekend.

Callum O'Hare and Josh Eccles replace Victor Torp and Kasey Palmer.

Coventry XI: Collins, Latibeaudiere, Thomas, Kitching, Bidwell, Eccles, Sheaf, O'Hare, Van Ewijk, Simms, Wright.

    :rolleyes

    ****ing Rashford again.

I'd like to say I've been surprised by the abject performance, but I haven't. How this manager can continue to pick Rashford and Hojlund game after game when they are both shite is a total mystery to me.

Ten hag keeps his job until the end of the season then. He gets sacked if they lost today.

Sack him anyway, wrong subs yet again, shocking in game management yet again, had to rely on a massive slice of luck yet again.

    Ten hag out.

Throwing a 3-0 lead against a team from a division below in a semi final is unforgivable really.

Makes the most sense. Give him the FA Cup final because he deserves that. Then sack him. You can even make the announcement soon about an end of season departure like Bayern did so the speculation stops.

    He was still injured apparently.

Who would you play upfront instead then? These were the results last time Rashford was dropped United 0-3 Bournemouth, Liverpool 0-0 United, West Ham 2-0 United, As you can see Rashford is clearly the problem and the team excels without him.
