We were seconds away from winning the FA Cup and I saw my team in Europe against Samsunspor when I was 16 so I've pretty much lived the dream already.

Wouldn't say no to a red & blue derby at the Nou Camp though. Reckon we'd actually beat them at the moment.

Some great talent in Eze & Olise albeit any suitors would look at both of their consistent injury history over the last 3 seasons & would therefore knock millions off the price they'd be willing to pay for either which would be good news for Palace .

Are they both Palace academy graduates ?

How's Adler Nacimento ( probably spelt wrong ) around 18 or 19 yr old who you signed from Posh couple of years ago getting on ?

Eze is from QPR and Olise Reading .

The latter certainly has proven to be a bargain when fit .

No Eze came from QPR and Olise from Reading for a combined £28m.

    Both local(ish) lads though.

No idea about Nacimento. Think he's in our U21s but not played much this season due to injury.

I reckon I could do a better job at this point than ETH. I wonder if there is an application form on the club website.

I don't think any manager would get a tune out of this lot, injuries aside, the rest don't want to pick up the slack. They've all downed tools and already made beach plans, some probably assuming they won't see Ten Hag again past May.

They might decide to turn up for the FA Cup final but as soon as City go 1-0 up they'll go and find their suitcases.

Serious question fella : What have you gleaned from Uniteds performances under the tutelage of Ten Hag that points to any definitive playing style ? Short of blind faith and willing to take the risk of affording him another season I'm honestly intrigued to know ,because this is collectively the worst United team I've ever seen in my lifetime ,no direction ,no heart ,no fight. Honestly mate I get you still supporting the man in light of the constant pillorying he regularly receives ,but your supposedly a United fan backing a man who has blamed the world and his wife for the lack of determination in the team he picks and lays out tactics for rather than cite his own glaring inadequacies.

If Liverpool were showing a complete disinterest in playing for that shirt I'd put it down as an anomaly ,but if it happened week in week out I'd look to different reasons for their lethargy.

United should be challenging right up there fella ,top fan base ,huge stadium and you're happy to have inflicted a limp to effectively 'at that time ' slow us down in the title race. Where's your pride at lad ?

I hear you, but broadly speaking I saw improvements last season and accept this year has been a disaster but there have been mitigating circumstances - namely the 60 odd injuries. That’s not to suggest Erik is beyond blame (clearly not) but I seriously struggle to imagine any manager doing much with this team - it was a top 4 squad that has really lost its best players pretty much all season. I don’t think we are disinterested - just not very good.

my view is I don’t see any outstanding candidates (Southgate ffs) - and ultimately this club will only get back to where it could be if the rubbish off the pitch is sorted - namely recruitment. I would like to see Erik given a season within that structure - but the key is to recycle the squad as we have seen the exact cycle repeat multiple times. He should have no power in the transfer market for starters.

if INEOS want a clean break I would be against it but understand it - has to come with a big overhaul in the squad however.

Is Allardyce doing anything at the moment?

    Haha.

    Most def United.

Jesus could walk on water and turn water into wine but even he would throw in the towel on that Antony being turned into a footballer. Hope United kept the receipt so they can get a refund.

I appreciate the Dutch Dyche has other things to worry about but once again he failed to give us any credit despite completely playing them off the pitch.

    Classless egg.
