Sunday @ 3pm, not on TV.

A game we should absolutely be targeting a win in given our record against West Ham and the fact they'll presumably be throwing everything at Leverkusen on Thursday night. There are always goals in this one so should be entertaining.

Apparently Marc Guehi's close to a return but given we shut out Liverpool for 100 minutes with one fit centre-back I'm not sure I'd bother rushing him into the side in what's effectively a bit of a dead rubber for us.

Can't really drop anyone after Sunday's performance. Every player was brilliant.

    Henderson
    Clyne Andersen Lerma
    Munoz Hughes Wharton Mitchell
    Olise Mateta Eze

    COYP!

Lerma out, which is a blow as he was outstanding as a CB at Anfield. If Guehi's not fit we may see Joel Ward back in, or even the lesser spotted Rob Holding :eeek

Shame West Ham's game didn't go to extra-time, but they were still in it 'til the end and picked up a couple of injuries so it's a great chance for us to bag another three points. Hopefully we'll have too much for them going forward with our best attackers all finally fit.

You reckon West Ham are checked out under Moyes?

4-0 down in 31 minutes :eeek

Yup. Looks like us at Newcastle last year when the season was over. Players are done.

Suspect there will be a few words said at Moyes from the WH fans.

People will say West Ham were poor but we were brilliant. Dean Henderson once again proving what a waste of money he is though. That's us 100% safe now, looking forward to the Newcasatle game Wednesday.

5-2 flatters West Ham, we easily could have scored another few goals. Absolutely superb performance, especially in the first half. Eze was at his absolute best, wonderful wonderful player when in this kind of mood. Seems ridiculous to pick out negatives, but Henderson lol ... the second goal was obviously a poor lapse in concentration, but the first goal for me he has to be a lot braver. And we desperately need to improve the squad depth, very strong first X1, but the likes of Riedewald, Schlupp, Ahamada, Edouard ... If we are serious about trying to make the next step then we really need to improve on these sorts of players as sub/squad player options.

Yeah didn’t exactly cover himself in glory for the first goal either. Agreed with squad depth, as soon as we made subs our attacking intent went and we were barely able to string a pass together. This is where we should be promoting a few of the youth players in my opinion. They can’t be as bad as some of the bench options we currently have.
