Considering getting one for my motor. Anybody else bought one are they worth getting.

I already have a decent stereo Alpine probably best ive had in fairness but i get sick of the shit reception and not being able to get some stations i like for the majority of the time.

At least with DAB there are far more options and reception should be bang on.:pray

I've got one in my car. I like it but mostly cause I can get BBC 6 music and the signal for stations like 5 live are clear.

Suppose it just depends what you want it for and how bad the reception is?

I like having one and there is good choice on them. Mine came as standard on my car so not sure how cheap/expensive they are?

    Smooth FM

The Pioneer is the one that's standing out to me at the minute .
Will be able to get about 50notes no bother at all for my Alpine. My mate will have that so the new one will stand me at just over £100.

Depends what car you have. The vast majority of cars these days have the radio integrated into the dashboard, so you can't just pop into Halfords and buy an exchange unit?

Won't it need a new fascia? I seem to remember the 306 having a strange shape for the stereo?

I've got a Sony DAB that comes with the Fiesta ST. Only problem is they seem to lose the signal often and you just end up having no sound.

It's already had the alpine stereo put in. They sorted that o problem. Looked at the shape and size of some of these dab ones and it'll be okay.
Loses signal. I thought the point of dab was better signal :(

You either have crystal clear or none. To be fair it only does it on certain stations like Absolute and Heart. Some are completely fine

I was meaning that the actual display and everything was integrated into the car dashboard, but if it's not then it's not. :thumb
