Scored another 2 goals for England u-21s tonight. Now has 5 for the season having got 3 already for Leeds.

Have we finally unearthed a striker from our academy? It's been a LONG time.

Hat-trick tonight for Nketiah. Brings his tally to 10 for the season for club and country.

Do U21 games ever get used in stats?

Only when you want to pad stats out to make them look more impressive.

In that case... looks like the Chelsea talent factory has produced yet another great prospect.

Or maybe being an Arsenal forum and an Nketiah thread it is just updating the Arsenal fans as to how he is progressing as oppose to suggesting it was a genuine stat that is being used.

    Just a thought!!!!

Please, that would make too much sense.

If I wanted to flex about Nketiah, I’d be doing it in the main forum, not the Arsenal forum.

    Exactly.

Good to see that he is getting plenty of goals. Would be good to see him get a little more playing time at Leeds

    Chelsea protégé surely.

The Arsenal academy has a longstanding track record of producing the mediocre as a matter of course.

You would have to go back to George Graham's tenure to name a player of any tangible worth to the club and even then solely because he was the man responsible for promoting them into the first team.
