TAA and Sterling never play well for England a blessing in disguise with TAA out.

Was he the one with the fake tan who looked like he'd just stepped out of TOWIE?

If Maguire isn’t fit they might go for a CB but then there is an issue with Henderson too.

Typical England - always have injuries to content with !

Gutted for Trent worked really hard to force his way into the squad when the manager clearly prefers others. I'd be taking Lingard now personally.

White surely in case Maguire doesn’t recover.

    Or AWB. For thematic consistency.

Well done to all the Liverpool fans who pressured poor Gareth into picking TAA. Look what you've done now.

I think Grealish is the first name on the team sheet (even though he plays for Villa). He loves playing football, you can see it when he plays and his interviews. He likes to turn and run at defenders, he's constantly winning free kicks, his worth ethic is brilliant and has created more chances than any other English player this season.

It's a tough call between him and Foden but I think Grealish is a better, more rounded player right now. I like Foden and he is going to be special but I think he'll come into his own 2-4 years down the road.

Whether it's Foden or Grealish (I think it will be between those two to play as a wide striker) as long as Southgate put his dislike for Grealish to one side and actually gives him a chance. Sadly, my prediction is that he doesn't play more than 30 mins in the group stages.

I'd like to see a front three of Grealish, Kane & Stirling with Mount behind them in midfield. Then 5 Right backs behind them, the unfit Henderson and Pickford in goal.

I dont think the 4231 formation works for Grealish if he is made to play in the middle of the three behind Kane.

I think the 433 suits Grealish better. If he goes for Foden and Grealish alongside Kane my only concern is lack of pace and therefore Kane dropping too deep. Can Foden play in the midfield three? Would Southgate play Foden, Rice and Mount as a three? No chance for me. If he did you could have Sancho the most natual right sided player and Grealish on the right.
