Our home games are going to be vital. Happy to get Cluj again as I think we will go out and prove they should never have knocked us out, I expect six points against them. We can get through but I would want a couple more players in to help us do so. Lazio been linked with Eddy, I can imagine if he plays well against them that interest might intensify.
So Rangers away fan ban will be for the game in Switzerland against Young Boys. Wonder how many knuckledraggers will travel anyway and smash up a few pubs?
They will also have another partial closure as they've been found guilty again. The Swiss lot are probably delighted that ra peepul won't be there officially at least but I suspect you're right and a few will go and disgrace themselves again. Could be fun in Rotteredam also as Feyernoord have a fair few morons as well.
Our bus is going over to Rennes for Thursday's game, looking forward to it. Will be another difficult night against a good team.
A really good performance and result against a good side last night and on another night could have won. Crazy stuff from Ajer for their penalty and crazier stuff from the ref when sending off Bayo. Have to say that the home game against Cluj aside I have been happy with our European performances as we have went for it a bit more and haven’t looked daunted in the games. We certainly have a chance of doing something in this group.
I've been clock watching in work all day, buzzing for the game tonight. Really hope we get some revenge and spank them, tonight. It'll be a tough game regardless but I believe we've improved a fair bit since the qualifiers. Should be a tough game for Rangers too. I see they're sitting second in the Swiss league and haven't lost in the last five domestic matches.
We asked Lazio for 10,000 tickets for the game against them in Rome. They have given us 9000 which will all be taken with more expected to travel. That will be some backing we'll have in the Stadio Olimpico.
Their attendances are poor but they still didn't have to agree to the bigger allocation for us. You're right though if they get the same numbers for their home support Celtic fans will outnumber them.
Going as well m8. Lets hope UEFA don't hit them with a ground closure. They are up on a racism charge next week sometime.
