WE ARE IN THE LATTER STAGES OF THE EUROPA LEAGUE! WE HAVE F*CKED UP OUR LEAGUE SEASON. THERE IS NO DOUBT ABOUT THAT. our only option to gain entry in europe's promised land is to win the europa league. no disrespect to Wolfsberger and Zagreb but let's not be sheepish about it- we've had 2 cracking draws in the K/O stages so far. we must take advantage. after we beat Man City in april... lets win this trophy as well. bring back the glory days of 1984. It's about time we actually lived up to our fake tag as a 'cup team'!! COYS!!
i would be chuffed with any trophy this season. if we could win the Europa League it would be wonderful... i think a european trophy feels more glamorous IMHO... but obviously as we know it will provide a champions league spot as well.
European trophy is more glamorous regardless imo. Premier League Champions League FA Cup Europa League League Cup I think the Champions League is probably more glamorous but that's in order of importance for me. I grew up never really believing the top 2 were obtainable (until Poch) so watching us win the FA Cup is the dream. Quite weird to think I've seen us runners up for the two biggies. If we could only win one this season it'd have to be the Europa League. You can win the league cup any year and I've seen us play and win in multiple league cup finals.
i agree. for that reason alone. Europa over FA cup. also the moment teams started playing weak teams in the FA cup as well as the league cup ..... started to lose it's magic IMHO
Annoyed we haven't killed that off tonight. Could have rested a few more next week ahead of Villa. Comfortable performance and win though. I think we'll score in Zagreb so shouldn't be any trouble next week.

Don't think Hart is too much at fault here. I agree they're an arrogant bunch of tossers though. I wouldn't mind so much if they'd actually achieved anything worthy of the arrogance.
