Rooney leaving is the best thing Everton will do this year. Predict 9th after an awful start to the season then big Sam comes in at Christmas and somehow ends up top half

Some 8th division Austrian team I think , saw a replay of one of Lookmans goals (at like 7-0 in 30 minutes) and the keeper quite literally just walked out of the way of the goal .

Never expected that, we finally have players who can keep hold of the ball.

So pleased with the signings hope they can playing within a few weeks.

Well Johnny you were spot on about Richarlison mate what a signing he could be.

Never a sending off for Jags v Wolves imo and spoilt the chance of us starting off with a win.

According to Bloomberg, a certain Mr Usmanov may be interested in EFC.

Russian billionaire Alisher Usmanov is open to staying involved in soccer and would consider investing in England’s Everton Football Club or teams in Germany and Italy after selling out of London’s Arsenal Holdings Plc last week.

Usmanov receives “many proposals” from clubs and is considering his options, Russia’s eighth-richest person said in a phone interview. Any deal would have to allow the 64-year old an element of personal influence over operations and management, he said -- something he didn’t enjoy as Arsenal’s second-biggest shareholder behind U.S. billionaire Stan Kroenke.

Usmanov’s intention to stay in football will be of interest to supporters of Liverpool-based Everton, which is majority owned by Farhad Moshiri, his long-term business partner. Usmanov’s USM Holdings already sponsors the training ground of the mid-ranking Premier League team, which is striving to break into the league’s top six and is considering a move into a new stadium. Usmanov “doesn’t exclude” a more significant investment, he said.

“We are friends with Farhad Moshiri,” he said. “If he needs the support, I am happy to help.”

    Interesting.

I wish the lad well, I suffered a fractured skull and other injuries in my army days and ended up 6 months in hospital but nowadays I would imagine hospitals and treatments are a lot more advanced than they were in 1974.

Michael Keane: Everton defender fractures skull in Idrissa Gueye collision

Everton defender Michael Keane suffered a hairline fracture of his skull during Saturday's draw at Bournemouth.

The England centre-back clashed heads with team-mate Idrissa Gueye in injury time and was taken to hospital after six minutes of treatment on the pitch.

"Michael Keane has sustained a small hairline fracture of the skull but suffered no other complications," said an Everton statement.

Keane, 25, said he must avoid head contact for three to four weeks.

The defender had earlier scored to put the Toffees 2-0 up in their Premier League match at the Vitality Stadium, before the Cherries fought back to earn a point.

"I will be back with my team and back on the pitch as soon as I can," Keane posted on social media on Sunday.

"I'm OK but suffered a small hairline fracture of the skull, which will heal itself."
