Looks like it'll be the 3rd best club ground in the country: No doubt there'll be typical bitterness from their neighbours.
Ferry across the Mersey. I still think Anfield is more liable for flooding with all that crying that goes on.
Of course the "traditionalist" will hate this proposal but I like it. It's not over the top, stands are close to the pitch and the river is mixed in nicely. Now a days all new stadiums are going to look something like this. People will say "soulless" but that's because it's new and has no history yet. I'm sure back in the day the new grounds were hated at first too.
I believe they're building an underground link to the Birkenhead Tunnel so the majority of their fans, being from Chester, Rhyl and Llandudno, can get to the place.
In that case they should build an airport smack bang next to Anfield, you know so the majority of your fans can get to games.
