I don’t expect to win tomorrow, in fact I expect to lose, but that doesn’t stop me dreaming

I’m honestly not convinced I’d survive a cup win, I’d drink myself to a heart attack

No title sewed up and not a single trophy won yet.

    Long way to go

you've got a public duty to lose to Spurs so Levy doesn't sack Jose and we can all enjoy that meltdown next season

No one said it was nailed on but it’s a bit sad you couldn’t even let yourself get excited about the idea of it with 2 semi-finals and a final the only thing standing in your way.

It will obviously happen one day.

Why will it happen one day ? United and Liverpool at their best have never done it.

Tbh it's not as exciting when you can't go but I'm old City so still look at things half empty, today will hurt more than any CL defeat, fa cup best competition In the world, should've gone stronger but also needed the players picked to step up.

Because there has never been a team so dominant as yours before in regard to how many points you have picked up each season and blew everyone away, it wasn't a far fetched notion at all imo

Nobody had done the League, FA Cup, European Cup.

    Nobody had won domestic treble.

    Nobody had reached 100 pts.

Nobody had gone unbeaten all season.

Tbh just because it hasn't been done doesn't mean it won't.

As a United fan I inherently dislike City and their fortune at winning the oil lottery. Your comment though, when you have always supported them, even they were shit is kinda heart warming. Can't really begrudge the success you're seeing now after years of watching them as an also-ran.

Still never take it for granted, weve been very lucky, still love reminiscing on old days, was chatting to Brian Horton today on Twitter about am away day 26 years ago today at Blackburn which saved us from relegation only weeks before Blackburn won title, Keegan year in 2001/2002 still one of best years in my life travelled everywhere and the went to Hamburg for pre season year after. However many trophies we win now or in future non of these players will ever live up to David White for me , my childhood hero.
