Finished 3-1 to Nuneaton in front of 838 spectators four times more than 9th tier Lichfield get with two worldies from Nuneaton though not a great watch on the 3G pitch .

It's the 1st FA Cup round draw today on ITV at 1.05 which is a bit weird .

Good luck to all getting a favourable draw .

BBC red button showed Grimsby's demolition of Bromsgrove yesterday & respect to the 3,000+ Stockport fans & players who gave local team Stamford a standing ovation & clapped them off the pitch along with the 161 Daniels fans present , nice touch .

Horsham get to the first round for the first time since 07/08 and only the 4th time in their history. I think a lot of their fans were hoping for a local derby against Crawley or a big money spinner at home.

    Carlisle away

1st round has drawn up a few local(ish) matches .

    AFC Sudbury v Colchester
    Scunthorpe v Doncaster
    Oxford v Bristol Rovers
    Northampton v Cambridge
    MK Dons v Stevenage

    The tastiest one is probably
    Bolton v Stockport .

Tedious draw for Southend, away to Chesterfield. Can only hope they are concentrating on promotion and give us half a chance!

Would have thought Sudbury v Col U is the likely TV game.

Wrexham beat Marine in the replay last night. Were so close to going out on Saturday with a last minute equaliser.

Away to League 2 Harrogate who are going well in round 1. Nice to be in the competition proper.

Classic Ipswich today. After years of throwing cup games because it’s more important to concentrate on finishing 15th, Cook names a basically full-strength side and we’re lucky to escape with a draw at home to Oldham. The magic of the cup etc.

Am hoping Sheff Weds & Plymouth put out strong squads in what should be a cracking ' live ' match at Hillsborough .

Then we're all Stratford & St Albans later & most definitely Dag & Red tomorrow !

Went to Stratford. Diabolical first 20 mins but it worked out well in the end… 5-1 and 2 cracking goals!

Another non league team in the next round please and hopefully a big team in round 3.

Just watched the recorded highlights , fair play to the 5,000 Stockport fans making who made the trip to Bolton ( Bury would have taken more )

I didn't know York City have got a new ground .

Few hard luck stories , take a bow Swindon's Louis Reed with 2 quality goals & Halifax & Maidenhead teams who gave us a barnstormer & 11 goal thriller.
