FF's Favourite Song of all time

With Richard's Hardest Animal competition having (finally) been completed and Muller's awesome Movie World Cup reaching an exciting end surely we need to move onto a musical theme and find out which song the inhabitants of FF really love more than any other? (I did a quick check and couldn't see anything like this having been done in the recent past)

Will it be songs that just grab you with their beat, or their lyrics or because they have a bass that will rock buildings for miles around as you cruise around in your lowered Vauxhall Corsa with its blacked out windows?
Or will it be those songs that have a sentimental value and that bring back fond memories of a time, a place or a person that has played a key part of your life?
Will it be those songs that make you feel alive and free as you dance around your house without a care in the world or will it be those songs that motivate and drive you, whether that be to get up out of bed in a morning or to complete that gruelling gym session?

Whatever the reason, it's safe to say that music plays a big part in most of our lives so let's find out which song will be our favourite of all time.

I want to try and do this slightly differently to how I've seen others run competitions like this as I'd like it to be as interactive as I can make it but this will all become clear as we progress with things (or at least I hope it will!).

It will be a few weeks before this gets going (certainly won't be before the end of Muller's Movie World Cup) but I thought I'd get it out there now to give maximum time for people to consider their favourites and get them PM'd to me (if anyone is interested of course).

To open this up, I first require each person to PM me their top 10 favourite songs of all time (any genre) in order from favourite to 10th favourite. The only thing I ask is that people take it seriously and list songs that they genuinely favour and don't just send a list full of songs that might get them a cheap laugh - those sort know who they are

And finally remember, this is about your favourite song and not necessarily a song you see as the best song (yes this usually comes hand in hand but not always - someone might have Barbie Girl by Aqua as their favourite song because it was their first dance at their wedding, doesn't mean they think it is a good song!)

Secondly, I see your point regarding the 2 titles being pretty much the one song (Wiki also backs your case) so yeah stick it down as one choice

 

Jeez, imagine that sort of collection before streaming and downloading. You'd need a warehouse to store it in

I'm sure it will be taxing for most to narrow down to 10, but you have plenty of time to have a think about it as at the moment I don't even have a deadline in mind.
