Football Manager Draft: Legends Back again with the second Football Manager Draft after the successful test run. I have changed a few things, and added a few things, so please take a couple of minutes to read below. Any questions just ask. The premise of this is that each of you will build a team which will when be inputted onto the current version of Football Manager. Results will then be simulated to find out who has picked the best team. This time however, you will have to build your team around 10 randomly assigned legends that will be added into your team at the start of the draft. Legends: I have created 160 legends that have been added into the game. They have all been assigned a tier, with 32 players in each tier. Tier 1 being the highest rated players all the way down to Tier 5 the lowest. All players in the same tier are the same rating. Before the draft, each player will receive 10 legends, 2 players from each tier. You will then draft 10 more current time players in order to complete your squad. My recommendation is that you focus initially on improving positions where you have tier 4/5 players as there will definitely be some better current time players in this position. As a reference, Tier 1 players are similar to Messi / Ronaldo level and Tier 5 would be the equivalent of a decent Champions League level player. Transfers: As I intend for this to run for a number of seasons, there will be transfer windows throughout the game. To begin with, there will be no transfer budgets. Once all the draft is finished, there will be a 24 hour window where players can trade players between teams. Any player can be traded, and legends can be traded for current time players. However, each player is only allowed a maximum of 3 trades per window. Trades should be negotiated via PM and confirmed in the thread. To confirm a trade one player should post the deal and the other like the post to confirm. Other Notes: As I intend to run for multiple seasons, all players over the age of 30 will be set to 30 years old. Did them myself with the aid of google as I know not a lot about football pre 2005. Most players can play in more than one position, Pele can play as a main striker.
