Gutted for Morocco but they can head home with their chests puffed out and their heads held high as the most successful African team of all time at a world cup. They've ran the gauntlet of some of the best Europe has to offer and given the current world champions a good few scares. Dima Maroc!

I thought he's put a few decent balls in and been unlucky that more hasn't come from them. Definitely faded in the last 20 minutes though.

I think they can be proud mate, they have played very well all through the tournament.Think a few of their players might attract interest from big clubs after this?

If only Morocco didn't have carthorses beyond En-Nesyri up top. France's gameplan has worked again.

BBC haven't had coverage before tonight since England went out, Wales were eliminated almost two weeks back.

There was a great tactical switch from Deschamps by switching Mbappe to the middle and putting Thuram on the left which shut Morocco down. Mbappe wasn't doing any tracking back and consequently Morocco were threatening constantly down the right. Thuram has put the work in since he's come on and shut down the space and in turn shut down Morocco.

The two that have caught my eye (who aren't already at big clubs) are Ounahi and Amrabat. Ounahi is at Angers in France, doubt he will be for long, Amrabat is at Fiorentina and again I can't see that being the case much longer as both have looked quality this tournament. Ziyech, Boufal, Hakimi and En Nesyri are all already stars in their own right.

Morocco have been worth at least a goal tonight, sad they won't get one. This French team are very beatable.

Not really easy on the eye France, but clinical. In this game and the England game, they seemed to ride their luck and looked under the kosh at times. But just seem to find a way to win games.
