We had no scum chat and had to both PM Frosty the same person to target in order to do a night kill. Hence why there were no NKs till Tomohawk was lynched and I was happy to be on that wagon…
I appreciate Frosty trying something with the set up but I think without any town PRs it made each day phase complete guesswork. No info at all to go on so no conversations. Every VT just waiting on someone else to say something Even if there was just a tracker or watcher it could have helped a little
I will look at some other setups that hopefully will work at some point. I maybe should have put a power role in or two, but I was just went with the original setup that was on the mafia wiki page. I just tried something different and hoped that it would work. I was a bit disappointed that there wasn't really much discussion, even with VT's there is still room to poke and talk, but maybe's the power roles would have helped the state of the game and got people to talk, even if it was just for a day phase, as a power role coming out would have meant Sgt and Tomo would have submitted the same name. But It pretty much would also depend on numbers to see what I can add to the setup to give the game the correct balance, and help push the game on.
I see your point with regards to VT having to drive the game but that imo only works with shorter days and time stamped lynches (which we moved to) with majority vote it’s too easy to sit back and wait for the power roles. Although after the first two days of no Night Kills and no Power Roles coming out the VTs should have realise what was going on. Something to be said for analysing wagons rather than sitting and waiting for the PRs but even the wagons never really took off enough to be wagons. Not sure how you’d get round that other than forcing people to vote and even then that’s difficult to enforce.
Would a set up work where it starts with a mafia Town split and all town are vt's.....but each night (or every other night) town recieve a power role work. When town dies their power role/vt status is not revealed.?
