Unfortunately I have discovered a serious failing on the server, which means any reboot or hiccup on the site would cause a complete failure. To prevent this resulting in data loss, I have decided to take the site offline and rebuild immediately. This will take a few hours, but not the 12 hours outage we had yesterday!
Okay, we're back with the same caveats as yesterday. We will be slow for a while while enhanced search indexes are rebuilt, but please do report any non-speed related issues you find.
Reckon you should complete the whole process and then put back on? I'm sure everyone here will be patient as you're putting a hell of a lot of time and effort in here.
Nah, I think we're fine to keep the board up. The only impact will be some performance slowdowns while the indexes build themselves, but that is a process that's designed to run with the board online anyway.
