Celtic and/or Boro have buggered up a lot of people's chances this week . . .

Absolutely. They will be the darling of many a bookie across the country. Me however, I think they’re both ****s!

Thanks for your patience with me getting these results out but it's worth the wait for some as despite there being no full houses, there have been a few high scores of the season claimed by a few! And it is one of these we start with as TLC claims her 2nd week high score of the season this week with her own personal high score of this season which has seen her rise 4 places to 4th spot, leaping to the top of the admin mini-battle in the process! Before we delve into that though, it's to the top of the table we go as Cal_BCFC claims the 2nd highest score this week to extend his lead to beyond 20 points at the summit. I'm not celebrating the same good week but I do manage to cling on to 2nd spot despite Panja closing the gap and now having TLC to contend with as well. StretfordEnd is another good performer this week and he is in the top 5, just behind TLC in the battle of the admin whilst TAFKAP remains marooned in the bottom half. Colinmorriswalksonwater is the one to drop the most this week as they slip to 8th from 4th and shudewill is another who loses ground in the league table this week. It's to the bottom of the table where we head for the lowest score of the week as Garrincha's late arrival didn't quite work as Cal's did a few weeks back as a gap now opens between them and those above them, CFC91 becoming the closest rival after a no show this week. Spaceman Spiff and RedDogChris do move themselves further away from that wooden spoon area as they look to drag themselves up towards that mid-table battle. The other upward mover this week is Hashtag55 who leaps above Super_horns in their mid-table battle!

    Mini-League Series

After the excitement of the end of Season 2 last week, it is all a little more mundane this week with the start of season 3 and everyone battling for early position in their respective groups. After a solid 3rd placed finish last season, TLC is off and running again in Season 3 with a score to take her straight to the summit of The Super League group whilst current overall table leader Cal_BCFC is in 2nd. There is only 2 points between the next 3 players but there is a bit of a gap between those and the 2 in the relegation zone and as me and Garrincha start by being cut adrift at the bottom.

In The Premier Division group, Vanni is looking to rectify last season's relegation at the first attempt as they move to the top of the group with TAFKAP right behind as they both take up residence in the promotion spots. Hashtag55 is looking for back to back promotions with a start that sees him up to 3rd after his success last season. Panja is also in the mix, just 2 points behind the promotion spots but both RedDogChris and Colinmorriswalksonwater start the season chasing the pack as they find themselves in the danger zone!

Spaceman Spiff just missed out on promotion from The Pub Division last season is looking to correct that this time around as they head to top spot in the group with Super_horns joining them in the promotion spots. CFC91 was a no show and so is already going to be seeking divine intervention to be chasing down the top 2 over the next 5 weeks.

    GOS Tinpot Shield

After some tight 1st leg ties, there was plenty of interest around the world in the GOS Tinpot Shield Quarter Final 2nd leg ties, with myself just about fending off Panja in our match up, despite Panja winning the 2nd leg. shudewill scored well in the 2nd leg of his tie against Cal_BCFC but come up against a man in form as Cal took the tie comfortably on aggregate to make semi-final 1 a tie between the current top 2 in the league table. In the other half of the draw, CFC91 handed StretfordEnd a walkover with their no show but it wasn't quite so simple for Daz_Blade but he was able to overturn his 2 point deficit from the 1st leg to overcome Super_horns by 7 points to book his place in the semi-final against StretfordEnd.

All of your scores for the week, along with the new table, the latest mini-season tables and the Tinpot Shield can now be found below. Navigate through the different weeks by clicking on the tabs at the bottom. If you spot an error then just let me know!

The players are in alphabetical order to give you a clue as to how far you have to scroll right to find your scores and it is still the same in that the league tables include the number of Full Houses (FH), Not To Scores (NTS) and Double Points Selections (DB) you've been successful with as well as your total points. I will use those 3 things (in this order) to determine the outcome of any ties :)

    Player of the Month:

With Halloween nearly upon us, that means October has come to an end for GOS and it is time for another POTM award to be handed out:
