I'm not saying I've made a bad start to this week but half of my selections played last night and you are now only 2 points behind my tally for the week
No post Christmas full houses this game week but still plenty of movers and shakers in the league table. We start with the highest scorers this week as it is shared by players at either end of the table as Vanni is moving on up to 6th with their 4th weekly high score of the season and this is shared by a first for Borussia Teeth who is able to bridge that gap at the bottom. At the very top, Cal_BCFC remains our leader and he is able to extend his lead to 18 points but his nearest rival is now TLC, who moves into 2nd spot, a season high position for the site gaffer. That means I slip to 3rd, a further point behind, whilst shudewill claims the 2nd highest score this week to remain well in the mix in 4th place with StretfordEnd keeping hold of 5th spot. Daz_Blade has slipped a place to 7th but Colinmorriswalksonwater rises again, this time into 8th place with TAFKAP dropping a place to 9th. Hashtag55's no show has continued to allow those around him to claw back points and CFC91 and Garrincha take advantage this week to move up a place each. Mini-League Series We are now truly into the "now or never" stage of Season 4 and the heat is rising - or that might just be because I have given myself a New Year treat and switched the heating on tonight. Either way, we have a battle in The Super League group as TLC is able to keep hold of her lead at the top but the lead is now just one point as Vanni closes the gap at the perfect time. Just behind them is Cal_BCFC and Daz_Blade with TAFKAP not much further back but keeping an eye over one shoulder at that relegation zone. shudewill and StretfordEnd remain in the drop zone but the gap is much lower and with a bonus week coming up, things could change dramatically. The lead at the top of The Premier Division is also reduced as Super_horns gets my lead down to just 6 points as we head into the final week of the season. There is a gap between us 2 and Spaceman Spiff and Garrincha who find themselves in a bit of no-mans land with a big gap between them and Panja and Hashtag55 who reside in the relegation zone. However, with that bonus week coming up even big deficits can be overturned in the space of a week! In The Pub League group, Colinmorriswalksonwater continues to lead the way with Borussia Teeth still in that all important promotion position. However, CFC91 remains in close contention to gate crash the promotion party and even RedDogChris could still turn things around with that bonus week over New Year!
