We could still be playing now and not scored ! Mind you if the team only decides to have a few shots after 80 minutes does rather limit your chances .
Quite a mixed bag of scores this week with 25 points being the difference between the highest and lowest scorers. At the top end of the scoring are our 3 full housers for this week with TAFKAP leading the way with a mammoth 40+ score which sees him move up a place in the table but brings him right back into outside contention for a late charge to the title. Second highest scorer is Garrincha who also completes a full set which enable them to move up 3 places to 12th and well away from that battle at the bottom. Our 3rd full house comes from last seasons runner up Vanni who is now up to 6th in the table and also showing an interest in bettering that 2nd place finish this season. At the top, Cal_BCFC remains our leader but it is now a weekly occurrence that his lead is shortened by the chasing pack and that has happened again as Daz_Blade moves to within 15 points of top spot. No change below those 2 as myself and TLC remain tied on points, a further 10 points adrift of the top 2. StretfordEnd is on the move though as he rises to 5th following a strong week but this is at the expense of shudewill who has a bit of a struggle and drops to 8th. At the wrong end of the table, CFC91's no show has given RedDogChris a chance to reduce the gap and he has done so nicely, now being just 3 points from climbing off the bottom of the table. Just above those, our number 1 player in January, Borussia Teeth, is off to a nightmare start in February by claiming the lowest score this week to remain in that battle at the bottom. Mini-League Series With just 1 week remaining of season 5, things have taken a turn in The Super League group as TAFKAP has managed to open up a 14 point lead over the rest after his stunning week this week. Daz_Blade remains his closest rival in 2nd place and with him having a 14 point lead of his own over the rest, it looks like the top group is sewn up for this season. In fact, with just 6 point separating 3rd and the relegation zone, everyone else will be looking down instead of up for next week. Cal_BCFC remains in the bottom 2 but he is now joined by TLC as Vanni has managed an escape this week! It remains a lot tighter in The Premier Division group with Borussia Teeth remaining at the top despite their poor week this week but their lead is now down to just 2 points with Spaceman Spiff remaining in the top 2. Garrincha is now just 2 points outside of the promotion places after their full house week sees them rise from the relegation zone to within a whisker of the top 2. Colinmorriswalksonwater remains adrift at the bottom and will be seeking divine intervention next week to be able to escape relegation and they are now joined by shudewill with StretfordEnd just a couple of points above the drop zone. RedDogChris is all but promoted as group winner in The Pub Division as he now has a massive lead over Panja and CFC91 who both went AWOL this week. As both missed out though, that means we could have a battle on our hands next week for the 2nd promotion spot. GOS League Trophy The League Trophy reaches the Quarter Final stage and the first tie has become a bit of a walkover for Spaceman Spiff as CFC91 misses out this week. Makes my defeat to CFC91 in round 1 more annoying We do have ties in the rest of the matches though although Cal_BCFC does take a 10 point lead over Borussia Teeth into their 2nd leg next week. In the other half of the draw, TAFKAP's massive score this week has set him up perfectly against Daz_Blade and he takes a 12 point lead into next week but it's a little bit closer in the final tie with Garrincha holding a 9 point lead over Super_horns.
