Tell me about it! The main issue we have is that Ron just won't actually properly **** off. He's currently holding the club hostage until the City Council give his tinpot pipe dream housing estate planning permission. Takeover agreed, but not finalised until he fills his boots. C***. The limbo is affecting the club a bit I think. That's not to say there aren't a few footballing issues to sort, but the main one is the fetid ratty leech we just can't shake off.
A big divide between high and low scores seems to be the weekly trend at the moment and this week proves to be no different. We are right on that Full House train once again and we have 3 passengers aboard this week (now that is a seamless link ). We start with Vanni who is our weekly top scorer for the 5th time this season as they bring themselves right back into the frame for a late punt at the title having been a runner up in last season's table and now residing in 3rd spot as they leap above TLC who drops to 4th. Garrincha took a break last week and their rest has seemed to work well with them nailing all selections and claiming the second highest score of the week and that is enough to see the Garrinch up a place to 13th as they continue to move away from the battle of the bottom. The other full house this week comes from Super_horns who remains firmly wedged in mid-table but a solid score this week ensures they are in touch with those just above in the table. At the top of the table, Cal_BCFC reacts to Daz_Blade having come within 5 points last week as Cal scores solidly to reopen a double digit lead but Daz remains his nearest rival as we head into the final straight of the season. StretfordEnd remains in the top 5 but I have a week to forget as I slip from 4th to 7th with TAFKAP benefiting as he rises a place to 6th as we have the closest battle of the admin we have ever seen! At the wrong end of the table, CFC91 is able to rise at the expense of Borussia Teeth whilst RedDogChris takes advantage of Panja's no show to cliimb further away from the bottom spots whilst dale4ever continues to reduce the deficit at the bottom. Mini-League Series After the excitement of the end of Season 5, we have the steadiness of the start of a new season. It's our full housers Vanni and Super_horns who start off in the top 2 of The Super League group whilst TAFKAP and Spaceman Spiff begin in the relegation zone. After their promotions last season, RedDogChris keeps up his good form by rising straight to the top of The Premier Division group whilst CFC91 is right behind in 2nd spot. I follow up my relegation by heading straight back into the bottom 2 with shudewill joining me in the relegation zone. It's our weekly high scorer Garrincha who tops The Pub Division group with dale4ever taking up the other promotion spot after week 1. Panja's no show means he is rock bottom for now. GOS League Trophy It's final 4 time in the GOS League Trophy and both ties see a player taking a clear advantage into the 2nd leg. In the 1st semi final, Cal_BCFC claims a 13 point lead into next week against Spaceman Spiff, whilst in the 2nd tie Super_horns is 10 points to the good against TAFKAP. All of your scores for the week, along with the new table, GOS League Trophy results and the latest mini-season tables can now be found below. Navigate through the different weeks by clicking on the tabs at the bottom. If you spot an error then just let me know! The players are in alphabetical order to give you a clue as to how far you have to scroll right to find your scores and it is still the same in that the league tables include the number of Full Houses (FH), Not To Scores (NTS) and Double Points Selections (DB) you've been successful with as well as your total points. I will use those 3 things (in this order) to determine the outcome of any ties Player of the Month: August - @Panja September - @Garrincha October - @Cal_BCFC November - @StretfordEnd December - @TLC January - @Borussia Teeth February - ???
I keep meaning to ask @Tomohawk, what does the green and red highlighting in the main league table signify? Edit: bloody Southend failing to score against the worst team in their league. Also I have no idea what possessed me to put Leicester as my joker rather than Liverpool or Arsenal. It's all gone downhill since I won January player of the month!
Green is those who've moved upwards in the table since the previous week and red is those who've moved downwards. No colour indicates a no change in position
