No worries. It'll earn you a point still and you'll still be eligible for a full house bonus if fortune favours you in the remaining fixtures :)

The NTS is doing it for most at the moment. Never known so many of us to get that selection so wrong so often than in recent weeks

Excitement off the scale this week as the Bank Holiday matches served us up a GOS treat. With 5 minutes of the 3pm kick offs left, Stockport finally broke the deadlock in their game and Daz_Blade was suddenly sat on a full house and had narrowed the lead at the top of the table to 3 points. 4 minutes later and Oxford City had scored a consolation goal in their defeat at Barnet and that full house disintegrated and with those late Leeds goals, Cal_BCFC actually ended up extending his lead to 17 points but not over Daz, over Vanni who by now had risen above Daz into 2nd spot. A rollercoaster of epic proportions, I am sure you all agree!!!!

But none of these at the top could match the weekly high score which came from that mid-table region as I managed to turn around my horrendous form that has seen me drop from a title challenger to mid-table in a matter of weeks. I share this weeks accolade with Spaceman Spiff who times a top score well to ensure they maintain their top 10 position! Heading back towards the top end of the table and we see a bit of movement in the group outside the top 3 as TAFKAP rises a place ahead of shudewill and into 4th and very much in pole position for that little win in the Battle of the FF Admin team! And talking of that battle, the news is not as good for StretfordEnd who drops another place to 9th having followed me into mid-table as Super_horns is able to edge ahead of him into 8th spot. At the bottom Panja suffers again, albeit at least managing double figures in the end which looked unlikely for quite a lot of the last couple of days whilst just above them Garrincha and RedDogChris each gain a place, partly helped by CFC91's no show.

    Mini-League Series

With the final 2 seasons being shorter in length, it's important to strike early and Cal_BCFC is doing just that in The Super League group as he aims to match Salop's League and Mini-League double from last season and he is already 6 points ahead at the top. Super_horns is now his closest rival although he is in 2nd by luck with him being tied with TAFKAP in every way. No change in the bottom 2 as TLC and Vanni continue to occupy the danger zone with shudewill and Daz_Blade just keeping themselves clear of the bottom 2 for now.

In The Premier Division group Spaceman Spiff continues to remedy their relegation last season by extending their lead at the top with Garrincha now taking over the other promotion spot as Colinmorriswalksonwater drops out of the top 2. At the bottom,, CFC91's no show sees them drop into the relegation zone with StretfordEnd remaining in the danger zone as RedDogChris leaps out.

The top 2 of The Pub Division group is currently taken up by the 2 players who were relegated from the middle group last season as Borussia Teeth leads the way and myself in 2nd spot. However, the threat of Panja looms over us as he remains in 3rd with dale4ever at the bottom having missed out this week.

    GOS Cup

I made an error with my write up on this last game week as I stated Super_horns was the only player with a 100% record and that wasn't true as Garrincha also held the same record. However, I have made sure it is correct that Super_horns is the only one with a 100% record this week as I defeated Garrincha for my 1st victory of the competition but Super_horns keeps up this remarkable record with victory over StretfordEnd to maintain his top spot. Colinmorriswalksonwater had a walkover against CFC91 whilst Spaceman Spiff beat Borussia Teeth by the odd point and RedDogChris was a comfortable winner against Panja and each of these are now on 9 points and well within a shout of a top 2 finish. The good news for the rest is that there remains enough points available for every player to still be able to qualify for the last 8!

All of your scores for the week, along with the new table, GOS Cup results and the latest mini-season tables can now be found below. Navigate through the different weeks by clicking on the tabs at the bottom. If you spot an error then just let me know!

The players are in alphabetical order to give you a clue as to how far you have to scroll right to find your scores and it is still the same in that the league tables include the number of Full Houses (FH), Not To Scores (NTS) and Double Points Selections (DB) you've been successful with as well as your total points. I will use those 3 things (in this order) to determine the outcome of any ties :)

    August - @Panja
    September - @Garrincha
    October - @Cal_BCFC
    November - @StretfordEnd
    December - @TLC
    January - @Borussia Teeth

    February - @Vanni
    March - @Vanni

Quite a tidy week! Unfortunately, I am certain to remain marooned in midtable nowheresville until the end of the season....

Still, we're in the cup so maybe squeak into the Europa League
