You couldn't write it. I was sure that I was on for a first full house in forever and now the team 12 points clear at the top of the French league, littered with international players are losing to a pub side who've won a few matches all season
By my dodgy old people maths I think I made 21 points no thanks to PSG managing a 1-1 draw against their local pub team
Very much like for like with the scoring this week as yet again the NTS puts paid to any full house bonuses. At the top end of the scoring this week is myself and CFC91 as we claim a joint high score and both are on the move in the table with myself jumping 2 places to 5th and CFC91 rising above RedDogChris into 14th place. At the top of the table, Cal_BCFC remains our leader and he holds on to his 17 point lead but this is now a lead he holds over Daz_Blade as he is into 2nd place having managed to get back ahead of Vanni who slips to 3rd. The only other mover in the table this week is shudewill who drops 2 places from 5th to 7th. The rest of the table remains as it was at the end of the previous week! Mini-League Series We have ticked over the halfway point of the shortened Season 7 and overall league leader Cal_BCFC remains the leader of The Super League group with TAFKAP joining him in the top 2 and being just 3 points behind. That means Super_horns slips a place to 3rd with Daz_Blade in 4th. TLC remains in the bottom 2 but she is now joined by shudewill who slips a place as Vanni escapes the relegation zone. Spaceman Spiff remains the leader of The Premier Division group but their lead is now down to 5 points as Garrincha narrows that gap. There is a 9 point gap between 2nd and 3rd as Colinmorriswalksonwater might be enjoying 3rd place but they are only one point ahead of the bottom 2 in a congested group. RedDogChris and StretfordEnd are both tied in every way as they vie to avoid relegation but CFC91 still has their work cut out to avoid dropping a division despite a good week this week. In The Pub Division group, I manage to get above Borussia Teeth and into top spot with Borussia Teeth holding onto the other promotion spot and we both have a hefty lead over the other 2 now but the battle for the bottom could be hotting up as dale4ever has recovered a good whack of the deficit between him and Panja to give themselves a fighting chance of escaping bottom spot. GOS Cup The first round is nearing an end but the battle for those 2 Quarter Final places is as hot as ever. After I ended Garrincha's 100% record last week, they turned the same favour out for Super_horns as Garrincha claimed a hard fought win to move to tied points as these 2 occupy the top 2 places. The breaking of the 100% records at the top gave others a chance to close the gap and Colinmorriswalksonwater takes advantage as they take the 3 points from RedDogChris, in a tight affair, to move to within 3 points of the top 2. Spaceman Spiff is in 4th despite defeat against CFC91 who claims a 2nd victory of the group stage. StretfordEnd defeats Borussia Teeth in another tight match and this just about keeps him in the hunt for the top 2 whilst I also keep myself interested with victory over Panja who remains at the bottom of the group.
