Quite the range of scoring this week with 12 points separating the highest and lowest scorers and with these being players at the bottom of the table, this has changed the landscape slightly. Firstly to the weeks highest scorer and the only player to bag a full house bonus as Garrincha nails all selections to top score this week and that has now certainly brought them closer to those above them as they seek to claw back that deficit from their delayed start to this season. One of those now closer to the Garrinch is TAFKAP who suffers a week low score for the 2nd time this season which leaves him chasing the other admin in that mini-battle that is going on amongst the 3 admins. StretfordEnd remains the leader of that group and has stretched away from TLC with a decent showing this week. Another upward mover is Hashtag55 who scores well to climb a place to 14th. At the top, it is all change again as CFC91 moves back to the summit, a position they last held in week 6 as last week's leader Cal_BCFC suffers at the hands of Everton to slip down to 3rd with myself being the other to leap above him as I reach the dizzy heights of 2nd. The pack below the top 3 remains unchanged but shudewill scores well to rise a couple of places to 7th but it's the opposite for RedDogChris as he slips 2 places to 9th. It's a pretty compact league table at the moment though with just 20 points separating the top 10 so it's anyone's guess who will take Salop's crown this season! Mini-League Series It's week 2 of season 2 in the mini-league and I have managed to keep hold of my lead at the top of The Super League group, stretching my lead, in fact, to 7 points over shudewill who is now my nearest rival having leapt above Cal into 2nd spot. It's very tight below the top 3 with 1 point between 4 players but it is RedDogChris joining Vanni in the bottom 2 as TLC rises out of the drop zone. Garrincha's full house week sees them up to top spot in The Premier Division group as they leap above StretfordEnd who drops into 2nd spot. It remains tight behind these 2 with CFC91 and Colinmorriswalksonwater both vying for promotion to the top table but both will also need to keep an eye on Super_horns and TAFKAP who remain in the danger zone for now. We have a new leader in The Pub Division group as well with Hashtag55 taking over the lead after his strong week with Panja remaining in the promotion places. Spaceman Spiff remains in the red zone but only a few points separate them and RedDevil19 just above them. GOS Tinpot Shield The groups are starting to take shape in the Tinpot Shield as we reach the 2nd round of fixtures. I have managed to secure a place in the knockout round with a 2nd win, this time defeating Cal_BCFC whilst Garrincha's victory over Colinmorriswalksonwater has set up a winner takes all match next week with Cal. Panja is another with a place in the knockout round secured thanks to a victory over RedDogChris and shudewill beats Spaceman Spiff to give himself a shot at qualifying for the next round next week. Group C is complete with both CFC91 and Super_horns claiming 2nd wins over RedDevil19 and TLC respectively in 2 extremely tight matches. Still a long way to go in Group D with this being the larger group but a draw this week between StretfordEnd and Hashtag55 means the group is wide open with Daz_Blade also claiming his first win of the competition to put 3 points on the board.
