Golden Oldies ?

    If we look at the 90's, and all the great players to play in Englands top flight.... names like Cantona, Beckham, Bergkamp etc etc are easlily named.

    Think back to the 80's who were the biggest stars in English football in that decade ??

    Ian Rush ?

    Grobbelaar ??

    Shilton ???

    Bryan Robson ????

    Gary Linekar ?????

    Mark Hughes ??????

    Any others you lads can remember ???????

    Yeah Lineker+Rushie were two of the best strikers in the 80's no question.

    Yep indeed. remember the '86 cup final - Liverpool and Everton - perfect example of the two of them in their prime.
