Voting and deadlines Vote like this: Vote: Baltic ON A SEPARATE LINE SO I SEE IT You may vote whenever you want (I would advise against lynching someone for a laugh right away as it'll likely f*ck you over pretty quickly) A lynch will happen when a majority of people are voting for one person. Each day will last a MAXIMUM of 3 real life days. If there is no majority on one person then there will be no lynch. Once 7 people are left the days will then shorten to 2 days. Each night will last a maximum of 12 hours (exceptions will be made if the end of the night is at a stupid hour). During this time the night actions must be submitted. If all actions are in the night will end and I will announce if people died. Anti-town factions do not have to kill if they don't want to. No. 1 rule in the game is don't be a dick. You may not like someone but leave that outside of the game please. Do not post any communication between you and the mod. Do not communicate with anyone outside of the unless you are allowed and then only by using the chat rooms provided. Any investigative roles will receive the result 'Guilty' or 'Not Guilty' based on their role. Also I'm only human and may make mistakes, pm me if I do and I'll resolve it as best as I can.
This is a Greatest Idea Mafia game Once the go-ahead is given, the cards numbered 1-146 (as listed on the Greater Idea Mafia page) are shuffled, and three are given to each player. Each card represents an alignment and role. You will receive a PM informing you of the three cards you have been dealt. Once the PM's go out, you will have 24 hours to decide one card to represent your alignment, and a second, different card to represent your role. The third card, if the game's setup is valid, will be publicly discarded. The game will be considered valid if a majority of alignments selected are town, and at least one alignment selected is permanently anti-town. If an invalid setup is created, we will try again, starting with a new shuffle and deal. Possibly Confusing Setup-Specific Things: Spoiler If only one Mason or Lover is chosen, then they are essentially a named Vanilla Townie. If more than 2 Masons or Lovers are chosen, then all the Masons form one Mason group, and all the Lovers form one Lover group (rather than separate pairs). The Nymphomaniac, however, creates a separate Lover group when it uses its action on Night 1. It is not part of any pre-existing Lover groups at gamestart. It is possible to unite the two groups if the Nymphomaniac targets an existing Lover, however. The One-Shot PGO is activated on the first night during which someone targets it. Any and all players who target it in that one night die. On the forum, it is strongly advised to only run setups that start with at least 50% Town roles. This should also be advertised to the players. Broken setups are no fun. On scumchat or Skype or a Marathon Day, go crazy. Crazy setups ARE fun. The Alien faction has only a one-shot factional nightkill for the whole game. The faction was designed to appear rarely but have powerful role actions. The Innocent Child can choose to reveal itself at whatever moment it chooses. It is not revealed automatically at the start of Day 1. The Enabler affects one randomly mod-selected other player. If the Enabler dies, its Enablee can no longer use any role powers other than a factional nightkill. The One-shot Cult Recruiter cannot recruit scum who could potentially be in a group faction (i.e. Mafia, Werewolves, Aliens). Independent scum (SK, Survivor, etc) can be cult recruited. Any player, however, can be Culted by targeting the Black Goo. The Replicant faction was originally designed to be an alternative to the Alien faction, with one of the two factions used at random by shuffling the face-to-face cards. If playing without a mod on Skype or in chat, this is not feasible; you may choose whether or not to include the Replicants as well as the Aliens, or to mutually agree with the players to use one instead of the other. Unlike the Aliens, however, Replicants are not limited to a single nightkill for the whole game. (In practice, face-to-face players ended up just using both) THESE ROLE COMBINATIONS ARE NOT ALLOWED Spoiler Mafia Innocent Child Werewolf Innocent Child Alien Innocent Child Serial Killer Innocent Child Survivor Innocent Child Cult Innocent Child Lyncher Innocent Child Judas Innocent Child Saulus Innocent Child

Unfortunately a re roll is required as town would be starting with less than 50% of the players. A second re-roll will not be required.

I like this alignment roleclaim. - unique town card - if he used it for his power card it would be obvious (bad strategy for scum-Josh).
That's why I'm keeping an extra record for early activity/order of alignment claims (because it truly is scum-indicative in Greatest Idea Mafia) - in past games, many (obviously not all) scum have been found guilty (including myself) of playing 'The Waiting Game'.
