I've drawn Russia in the FF sweepstake, so of course they are my tip to win the group... Tough to see any points for Finland as Belgium and Denmark are too strong for them.
Should be too strong in this group but will hope KDB and Witsel are fit soon . Their defence is experienced but getting older which could go either way.
Good calls there , last chance saloon for the likes of Alderweirweld , Vertinghen , Martens & Witsel the Golden generation & what has happened to Hazard since going to Spain , injury prone & a pale shadow of the Chelsea player however I do expect Belgium to steam through the group with the Danes who play all 3 of their games in Copenhagen to finish runners up .
Not much expected from Finland but it's their first ever international tournament so I'm excited to see them playing at this level. Hopefully Pukki gets going and causes some problems.
I'm not but Kasper is an absolute ****ing legend and my favourite player in the tournament so I'm also cheering on Denmark.
I'm looking forward to seeing how Daniel O'Shaughnessy gets on for them in defence . Reckon the Danes 1-0 .
Other than Pukki I can't say I know much about them. O'Shaughnessy was an odd sounding name to see in the lineup but is a genuine Finn. I grew up living with a Finnish grandmother so feeling a bit of Finnish pride going in to this tournament. Hope they cause a small upset in the group but they'll likely finish bottom. First ever international tournament though so just nice to see them involved.
Albeit a home game for Denmark it's nice to see pretty much a full house fans wise & a healthy away support.
Finland look a bit out of their depth in these early stages. Hopefully they're just early nerves or this could be a long day for them.
Fans make such a difference. Finland are a bit out of their depth but this actually feels like football. Finland making history, bit of bite to the game between relatively local / rival nations and a decent atmosphere.
