Do you really want your best player home early and possibly affected mentally by the failure. Wouldn't you at least want him to have a say in a win tonight and a good next game

OK, let's agree to the following: Germany wins today and qualifies as 2nd. And Belgium will do the same but (miraculously) qualifies as 1st. Then we'll play against them in the 1st k.o stage and we'll send KDB back to Manchester ;)

It's Germany we're talking here. Do you really believe any Englishmen here would want us to win and advance? They always wish us the worst, the cnuts (© Pags) ;)

. I do like gundogan alot and think he is up there as one of their best though. But I don't think there's any stopping Germany from going through now anyway

Wouldn't be arsed any other year but were in middle of a ridiculous schedule and we've pulled Liverpool and Chelsea in 2 cup comps

Even making the quarters he'd get 2 weeks off I think so loads of time. But I suppose injuries are possible. Still I think he needs another couple of good games to feel in any way good about the tournament
