Sjor vs Arsenal Tone Sjor tactics: Arsenal Tone tactics: I hope to win this game in a number of ways. The most obviously will be the height and aerial threat of my front two Scamacca (6'5) and Abraham (6'3) up against Guehi (6'0) and Lisandro Martinez (5'9). I would focus most of my attacks through Sterling and Davies down the left. Then Brandt (6'1) would join my front two in the box where it's likely either Cucurella (5'8) or Ravel Morrison (5'9) would be marking him. Balls in the box from either flank or from deep would cause his short, technical defensive players all sorts of problems. Then picture set pieces when van Dijk (6'4) joins them in the box. It would be a complete mismatch! His biggest threats are Mbappe and Saka imo. With my full backs overlapping my wingers, they would be forced to track back. With most of my attacks being through Sterling and Davies down the left, Mbappe (his talisman) would be particularly under pressure to track back and this would limit his creativity. With Tonali and Barella sitting in front of the defence, the areas Foden and Pedri want to play would be blocked and behind them van Dijk and Alaba have the quality and experience to stop anything that does manage to get through. Look at the average height of our teams, it's men against boys!
