Very good. I remember him in that Middlesbrough side of the mid nineties - had a great partnership with Nick Barmby.

    Okay here's the next:

The simple answers is I guess then google to confirm so that I don't embarass myself.

As for the correct guesses, I know the background of a lot of players who pass through the clubs I'm most interested in - U's, Barra and Everton (Posh, Luton, Liverpool)). Also we always get a sunday paper and I have had a habit of checking through a lot of the teams on the results page to see if ex-players are getting a game etc even more than worrying about the results and I suppose some it has stuck over the years.

As a kid, I used to cut out the teams from the Sunday Post and People match reports to get teams for my Subbuteo leagues. They featured quite a lot of Scottish teams with interesting kits (painted myself) like Accies and Celtic along with those that had the same colours as Barrow (Carlisle, Chelsea, Birmingham), Workington (Liverpool Crewe, Aberdeen), Everton (lots), Southampton (Sheff Utd, Brentford, Exeter), etc

Sure is. Never knew he had such a good goalscoring record for Wolves... thought he was just a lump up front. I remember him for Swindon because he was in the Premier League sticker book.

That would be another in a long line of " The Next Pele," who's career plumetted after he left his teens (and the US).

    Freddy Adu.

Our own "Next Pele" is playing tonight in the 5th round of the FA Youth Cup against Sheffield Wednesday. Glenn Nascimento McConnell is qualified to play for England, Republic of Ireland and Brazil.

EDIT: He scored, we won 2-1 and play Arsenal at the Emirates in the Quarter-Final.

I don't think there's many Man City fans on this thread.

Is he a favourite player of yours? Or is it a she/ladyboy?
