RULES Squad Budget In this draft game I am being very generous with the Squad Budget - each manager will be given £100m to construct their 11-man team. You can bid any amount of money on each player (even £0). 11 categories For each category we will have a BID round and a DRAFT round. This is how the draft will work: Bid on a player that I have drafted in 2015 (transfer sim does not count) Draft a player that I have drafted in 2015 (transfer sim does not count) (order decided based previous rounds bidding) Bid on a player that I did not draft in 2015 (transfer sim does not count) Draft a player that I did not draft in 2015 (transfer sim does not count) (order decided based previous rounds bidding) Bid on a player who has finished in the top 4 in Serie A Draft a player who has finished in the top 4 in Serie A (order decided based previous rounds bidding) Bid on a player who has played in the final of a European Cup or Champions League. Draft a player who has played in the final of a European Cup or Champions League.(order decided based previous rounds bidding) Bid on a player that has never player in Serie A. Draft a player that has never player in Serie A. (order decided based previous rounds bidding) Draft any player (order decided based remaining budget) Repeat last step until team is complete Bidding This is how each BID round works: Each manager will Private Message me with a bid for a player who satisfies the set category for the round. Example: Category A: Bid on a player that I have drafted in 2015 (transfer sim does not count) For example: Giacinto Facchetti £42m There is no minimum amount you can bid for a player. The manager with the highest bid signs the player. If two or more managers make an equal bid for a player then the player will be unsigned and remain available for the future rounds. WARNING: For any managers who fail to sign a player in a bid round, they will have to sign a player from the same category (you sign these players in a draft format following DRAFT round, the order of this draft is based on the amounts bided - highest bids go first ). Drafting This is how the DRAFT round works: The draft order will be based on the amount you bid on the previous round. The manager with the smallest bid amount will draft first. If two or more managers bid the same amount, the draft order will be based on (i) the manager with the largest remaining budget drafts first, (ii) the manager with the most players drafts first, (iii) the number of caps the player chosen has (iv) the name of the manager, A-Z (excluding numbers and symbols). Therefore: Round 3: BID Round 4: DRAFT (draft order based on Round 3's bid amounts) Round 7: BID Round 8: DRAFT (draft order based on Round 7's bid amounts) Each manager will then pick ONE PLAYER that satisfies the round's category. After you make your pick, please Private Message the following manager in the Draft Order. There is a Draft Deadline Window of 6 hours. If you miss the deadline the next manager in the draft order can continue. If you think you will be away for longer than 8 hours please send a shortlist to another manager or myself. Landmines If you pick a player landmined by someone else you will lose that player to that person. If two people have the same player landmined at the same position both landmines fail, if a person has that player landmined at a lower rank they will not get that player and the player is free to be picked. The any landmines hit will be revealed at the end of each round. If you have a successful bid on someone but they are landmined you do not pick two players in the draft like you would if your bid failed, instead you wait until after round 11. Player Evaluation There is no specific evaluation on each player, no 4 year peak, just how they are rated. Team Evaluation : We will rank each others teams under the usual categories (best team, defence, midfield and attack) Send your bid in for category A by 10pm tomorrow.
Guyett. Did you not take part in "International Caps" or "all time english top flight"? And what about players you have "stolen" in tournaments?
My bid's in, rushed it on the walk to the station this morning. 1. Not confident I'll win the bid 2. Not confident he isn't landmined 3. Not confident I'll even be near the top of the draft order Expecting a great start.
