10 years ago today, the old Rangers went into administration before their eventual liquidation, following their years of financial doping and cheating! A time in Scottish football so hilarious, all the laughing I did was enough to be considered a decent abs workout.
If their tribute act don't win the league this season and secure the Champions league money they are also in a difficult place financially as they continue to live on other peoples money. Interesting times.
And then after coming back from the bottom Rangers the defending champions are playing Dortmund whilst Celtic are playing a team called Bodo/Glimpt. Hehe
Why. Did Rangers beat Celtic last night?. Our European results have no bearing on the title race and last time I checked it was only two weeks ago we took Rangers to the cleaners with ease.
Bad night at the office last night against a very well drilled team. While we are still very early on our path and playing style Bodo looked like the team that have been drilled in the high press for years, which they have. Basically we both played the same game and style but Bodo done it better. While you always want to win games it was a strange feeling for me walking out last night after the game as there wasn't the dejection there usually would be after a euro home defeat which was down to the fact that it's all about the league this season with a £40m champions league pot awaiting the winner. The game shedule has been unbelievable and if we do go out it eases that a little.Although i'll still be shouting for us to win next Thursday it might end up not a bad thing going out.
