Well you've obviously put in a lot of effort in your site, so all the best.

Dont let all that go to waste though - if you find it getting too much then get in ocntact with us - we are looking to expand into other regions once we find the right contacts.

  8. yeah its already too much, i dont have the time to get the news updated every day, takes an hour at the least.

I spent months building the site, there is alot of pages, 100 or so and it does take some doing. i think i am the only person about that was happy with the winter break - it gave me time to update things perfectly [IMG] [IMG]

as my first post said though, i am desperatae for help, i have a couple already helping and the more the merrier i say. a main aim would perhaps be to have one person per club for the news. as it stand with the guys helping just now they just would e-mail me the stories they wrote up and i do all the HTML stuff...... so it takes them minutes and i just get it all thrown together, check it and upload. a good system i think though it isnt quite started...... will be soon when we get news going, but again, i need people!!

Mate, you should be manually updating stuff people send you - set the site up properly and youll never have to lift a finger!

I spent months writing the code for this site, and new we have many regularly updated sections, and I dont have to lift a finger [IMG]

If it gets to the stage where you want really cant cope, then as I say get in touch. There is no reason we cant set up a "Scots Football Forums" thing...

Well the way I see it is that people who we trust to update the site, like the news reporters, only get to **** up once before they get sacked! [IMG]

Seriously though, your site will never be a success if you try to do everything yourself. Even if you wanted to verify everything, you could still write scripts do that, so you just read it, and click "Accepted" and it will automatically update..

Ah well - it isnt my life being buried in code - not my problem [IMG]

Sure - it is easy really. You need an excellent Marketing Director like we have - Murno is his name!

Naaah but seriously like Insite says, you need a team to make something like this a success like us we have a marketing manager for advertising - everythings well organised. You seem to be trying to do everything yourself ?!?!
