They don’t know much about him, I do. He’s a future England international. Never been so sure about anything in football as this.
I remember a 606 phone in with that twat Alan Green a few years back with a Brentford fan claiming the goalkeeper they had on loan was an absolute genius and the best thing ever blah blah the player? Wojchiech Szczesny, who couldn't even make it at Arsenal, up until this season permanent backup at Juventus, and essentially a bit of a joke. who knows this guy might be the real deal, but just because someone is good at league one level ... it means nothing imo.
Despite the fact its Doncaster and Everton fans raving about him? You've had an absolutely shocker there lad.
Another goal. He’s just taking the piss now... He’s not even here to score goals. What he’s here for he does perfectly AND the bonus off goals. Best player we’ll have in a long, long time.
That player at Brentford is now the Juventus number 1 tbf. He was signed as back up for one season while they phased out Buffon and still played a lot of games. Didn't fulfil his potential at Arsenal partly because the coaching wasn't up to task. So many young players stagnated there in Wenger's later years. Goalkeepers usually take longer to mature properly as well. If this lad ends up starting for Juventus every week then he'd take that.
Loan extended until end of the season. Thank you Liverpool, it’s gonna be a treat to watch this future England star for 5 more months. F*cking buzzing!
Yeah, of all the players to pick of unfulfilled lower league prospects to prove your point, Woijech Szczesny wasn't the one. He's Juventus first choice goalkeeper at the moment. If in time, Herbie Kane ends up as one of the first names on the Juventus team sheet then I think all the Donny Rovers fans points will be well and truly proven.
Not a bad career is it? - being back up/first choice at two of the biggest clubs in world football and an International. Sure there are better examples of young players looking good but not making it...
@Godolphin @Donnyrovers90 Thanks for your input with this, great to see that you rate him so highly. If you could continue to post updates every now and then that'd be class. Hopefully he can help Donny get promoted
Should’ve seen him Sunday. Mugged off Paul Gallagher (an experienced 34yo championship pro) 3 times in the space of 5/10 minutes at the end that went whistle blew, he started on Herbie Unreal talent. Scary how big his potential is.
Pointless fact of the day, Gallagher's missus was in my journalism degree class at Uni in 2011. She was a bit of a gimp as well.
