Has anyone dropped off from cloud 9 yet? I thought I was starting to but here I am another evening and more getting emotional watching various videos and such again
Just really happy for the Club. So much History on top of it too. Long time coming and back where the Club should be.
Walked around market square on my way to Bierkeller on Monday- have to say it was superb, found myself caught up in it! Absolutely buzzing for you lot, can tell how much it means to the city.
I'm not sure I've got my head around it still. I thought I had and then I finally got round to watching the "alternative angle" video yesterday and was a blubbering wreck again! And this is someone who's not been able to get to games for a while, I can't begin to imagine the level of emotion felt by those who've endured everything over the last 2 decades on the front line Sent from my SM-S901B using Tapatalk
Every Forest fan on here must read this. It's lengthy so bear with it but it is absolutely class writing. Stunningly accurate. We are finally Freed from Desire... Enjoy. https://t.co/HmfaqhOKS4
I read that yesterday. I think every Forest fan can relate to most of that. Felt so close at times to giving up. I felt like we were permanently cursed in the Lamouchi season after yet another capitulation. Then Hughton sucked the life out of us, thank god for Stevie Cooper
Nice. Proper write up by a proper fan. Took me back to the days when Bruce took over at Birmingham and we went from relegation candidates to play off winners. There was a guy in the crowd at Cardiff (Wembley was being rebuilt) that the cameras picked out as Darren Carter walked up to take 'that penalty', and like so many Blues fans, he looked exhausted, spent, could barely hold his head up to watch, but the resulting kick meant we were up. I think that's what has happened again here, so many fans exhilarated and it all came so unexpectedly. I really hope Forest make a fist of it next year, put foundations down for a long future in the best league in the world. They deserve to be up there and the fans on this message board have in the main been a joy to read.
I will add at this point that most weekends I was more excited watching the Forest results come in than I was the Blues. That bet I had made the run in both enjoyable and nerve wracking in equal measures..
I messed up. I put my remaining $15.40 on Forest going up with potential winnings of just under $300, but when Ladbrokes offered me a cash out of $108 at the semi final stage I showed a mate on my phone and as I passed it to him he accidentally clicked on ‘accept’, so I missed out on nigh on $200. I’m not bitter..
It paid for a nice meal out for the Panjas. I wore a splash of red in your honour (and drank some, it has to be said). Everyone’s bitter in Oz. The beer unfortunately is not..
