    You're wrong. It HAS to be pronounced 'gone' otherwise the 'fastest cake in the world' joke doesn't work.

    I hardly ever go to East Devon, in fact last time I went I was with you......

    They still have proper Devon Scones though.

    Devon clotted cream is better than the Cornish muck as well......
    Creamier and thicker, you can taste the difference knowing it's less inbred. :thumb
