It's approaching the end of the season. Obviously, we're always looking to improve our squad. Hopefully, you don't think this thread is started too early.

Who do you think should leave/be replaced and also, which position(s) do you think we need the most improvement in? Any particular new player you think our team really needs?

Starting off, I think we need someone new to rotate with Firmino and Robertson.

I think you should get rid of Salah and Mane, and replace them with Mbenza and Diakhaby.

Sell/give away/pay someone to take them - Lallana and Moreno.

Sell - Sturridge and Lovren, and the likes of Clyne and Ings if still in contract at end of their loan.

    Promote - Brewster, possibly Wilson.

Buy - attacking midfielder, centre back and cover for Robertson.

Depending on Lallana's contract they could probably still get 15-20 mill for him.

Who in their right mind would pay that for him? Given his age and injury record.

Edwards could get Brexit passed, he's proven to be a master negotiator on transfers. I wouldn't be surprised that we got more than we expected for Lallana - unless he has only a year left of course.

I’m sure someone said he was out of contract in the summer? Not 100% but even if it’s a year or two left I don’t see us getting double figures. He’d be a massive risk for any club.

When you see some of the utter shite that gets sold for £20m+ fees I see why not.

Seems £30m is the opening bid these days. Lallana is a classy player, just a pity about his fitness, if he could sort htat out he'd be a decent player for a mid table premier league side.

Yes the transfer market prices are ridiculous but honestly which club would honestly pay £20m for a 31 year old who’s injured constantly. It’s not a question of ability, it’s the injury proneness.

Grujic is a funny one. Berlin love him and it appears he has matured as a player, but what can he do for us really? Will he usurp the midfielders already there - no. I think he'll get sold this summer personally.

Let’s not be pedantic. As long as they go who cares whether it’s a sale or an out of contract leaver.

His deal runs until next year (apparently with an option for another year), he's on about £100k. Despite that & the injury problems could foresee about £10m dependent on who comes after him...

We might have to pay another club to take Moreno off our hands, just hope he's not on our pension scheme!
