The Jadon Sancho rumour keeps knocking about. It makes sense that Liverpool are getting linked - personally unsure it'll happen and have a feeling he will end up at Manchester United. But it seems very likely the club will act and get a new wide forward in the next summer window... if not in January (though that seems unlikely) Question: Would you take Sancho? Would you even have him as a replacement for an outgoing player such as Salah? I've seen another fan on here bring up the fact we may need to get some English players in with Milner and Lallana likely to leave in the summer - and so, perhaps the club could afford to get Sancho in and keep Salah? with the wages freed up by their departures. Or would you go after somebody else altogether? It seems Sancho hasn't had the best of seasons so far with Dortmund? Ryan Fraser would be a much, much cheap option with his contract running down, for example.
I'd take Sancho but not as a replacement for Salah, more of an addition Salah Sancho Firmino Mane If we are moving one of Salah/Mane/Firmino on then we should be going all out for a top, top, top forward who's name begins with M .
Yeah . Would be incredible to watch. If not Sancho or Mbappe I'd want us to sign Havertz to play just behind Bobby flanked by Mo & Mane tbf.
Keeping it realistic,I wouldn't mind Klopp surprising everyone and making a sneaky bid for this fella. He's added a completely different dimension to Newcastles game.
No way @Redpelt He seems a tricky player but no way would he fit in this Liverpool side, far too inconsistent through games.
Then we dont concur ,I'm fine with that . I just think the lad has the makings of a top player, pace attitude, desire and no little compliment of ability.
I can't see this happening. The guy is ok going forward but he is an absolute disaster zone with doing any work to track back or help defend.
I am going to throw a name out there... Michail Antonio. Can play on either wing, up top and has played at right back. And English. Every time I've seen him he works hard and has played well against us before. Could make a really decent squad option, and I don't think he'd cost a bomb.
it isn't what it used to be. But before we went and signed the Salzburg forward I would have been happy with Antonio as a squad option.. doesn't matter now though.
Antonio would've been good purely for the option at RB, I love now that we largely sign super versatile players (Minamino 8/10/RW/LW/ST) as it means we can keep a stronger, smaller squad.
