Just been told that our very own Mr Rodriguez could be on his way to Leeds on a loan deal. Not sure how reliable a source it is but would be an interesting one. Think it would do him good to be honest, getting some games under his belt.

Doesnt look as though Coyle is going to give him much playing time off the bench this season, thought he would have done to be honest. Better off sending him out on loan if thats the case and a move to Leeds would be decent. Cant see him being picked over Beckford or the other fella who knocked the goals in last season though.

I think he needs to go out on loan at a decent level to gain much needed experience. I agree he came on leaps and bounds last season, and chipped in with a few important goals. However, he is still very much learning, and looks a bit lightweight at times for me. The premier league is a step too far for him at the moment IMO and a loan spell will only inhance his chances of making it at Burnley. We have bought Nugent in for his experience leaving us with Pato, Thommo, Fletch, Blake and Nugent now - 5 experienced strikers.

I see a lot of Kyle Latterty in Rodriguez tbh. Needs to add a bit of strenth to his game and that will come with time. Think he's got it in him to become a better finisher than Lafferty. That goal he scored against Forest was brilliant. To even take a shot from the angle he was at takes some confidence but to get the power and curl like he did was class.

Looks a much better prospect for me than Lafferty ever did. I think he'll be a good player, not sure he'll be premier league class though. Only time will tell.

I was talking about some parts of his game. As i said i think Rodriguez will go on to become a better striker than Lafferty though if he keeps improving which ive no doubt he will. Might not be good enough for the top flight but i reckon he will cut it at Championship level.
