As its a bit quiet on here I thought I'd post something to start a bit of a debate - I don't think Jesus is the man to replace Sergio when he goes. The offside law seems alien to him, too lightweight, basically been given time to prove himself and although by no means a bad player, not a target man - any views anyone?

Comparisons with Aguero is very harsh. He's done it season after season. It is always going to be difficult to fill that void. Then again, the team has so much movement and creativity so I feel any Striker in that team will be prolific.

He hasn't been a regular starter though unless Aguero was out injured??? He's not a bad player. Worth having in the team but Aguero will be a hard void to fill.

Top player in the making imo.

Only 23 and scores regularly. City could do with someone else to share the load with him as they're not going to replace Aguero whoever they get.

I'd have him in that second tier of strikers behind Aguero, Aubameyang and Kane but alongside the likes of Vardy and Rashford. Could easily see him making the step up though.

Would be interested to see his goals per minutes ratio

Jesus is actually a better footballer than Aguero and great link up man, interesting if he got a 20 game run.

I mean, he's definitely not a better footballer than Agüero, but I kinda get what you're saying.

We won't know whether he's good enough to replace Agüero until he has to. But I personally think he has the potential.

I'm still not convinced chaps, but would be happy to be proved wrong - would like another striker to play alongside him as I don't see him taking over the Aquero role as too lightweight - as to who that striker would be I don't know, perhaps someone with a bit of height for once.
