Not full time Premier League quality ones they aren't - at best they're decent Championship keepers. I won't blame them - the rest of the team performance right now is so p*poor that quite honestly it's not going to make much difference
Who was the young goalie that came on against Chelsea the other season when Elliot got injured? Krul seems to be a bit unlucky injury wise.
Krul was having a pretty poor season, so the replacement keeper can't be that big a drop. But that's the situation up here. There's a dozen or so purple players, with not a whole lot of quality in depth. Either we start scoring and get a couple of wins soon, or we'll need to buy proper quality in January to keep the pound notes flooding in. It's not all lost, and at least the club has time to act, rather than do what we did last season, which nearly cost us a relegation.
Totally disagree, krull has had his best start to a season this year, the last 2 seasons he has been awful. Elliot is better in the air, commands his box better and has much better distribution than krull. Tim is better in the 1-1 situations But Elliot likes an injury or two and is a little over weight for me but he had a good game yesterday. I'd like to se Valdez come in Jan as cover.
I don't rate Elliot either, for what it's worth. I think he's championship standard at best. Stevie McClaren said that he thinks Krul is worth about 20 points on his own. That's saying something as we've only taken 19 points in the whole of 2015! In my view Krul hasn't stood out as a top keeper this season, so will hardly be a great loss. He's got some dross in front of him mind. Left back is a low point. I'd take Enrique back in January if he'd come.
That mbabu has been class there hope to keep him fit and that's that problem solved. As soon as he went off at city every goal came from laceles. How Dummet gets a game there is beyond me. Makes not difference what we think Elliot is there and that's the end of it fingers crossed for valdes.
