Pick a LB and a RB! I simply can't overlook the current two who are above and beyond any full backs we've had in my lifetime
I loved Arbeloa, he was a great player but Trent is a very special player so it has to be him at right back. He’s a once in a generation type player. An exceptional talent. And it’s just that bit more special he’s one of our own. And Robertson would be my left back choice - I always had a soft spot for Riise and oh my could he score a goal but overall I’d take Robertson as you can not ignore his form and contribution over the past two years. He’s been outstanding.
Riise deffo the runner up here, scored some beautiful goals and played for the shirt. Far too defensively naive especially towards the end of his career with us. Finnan runner up for me at RB too. So consistent and underated. Seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth since retiring
Can't look past the current 2 really. Arbeloa and Finnan were quality but Trent is next level. Without injuries, I reckon Aurelio could have been in with a shout. Quality player.
Current two, but i would say that finnan would be my sub choice to cover bith sides. However I have to give bjornebye a special mention as he had a huge amount of assists and is forgotten.
Tough leaving Rob Jones out. Absolute top class right back albeit extremely injury prone. But its gotta be the current pair.
