Thought I'd give this an ending with a smile, went for a meal along the Lancs with wife, daughter and 3yr old g/daughter, on the way back we passed Goodison, I said to my g/daughter, "this is were Everton play", she sang "Luis Suarez di di dirit di di" I said "No! this is Everton's ground" she sang "Luis Suarez di di dirit di di" I said "who taught you that?" she sang..." He's fat, he's round, he bounces on the ground, it's me dad!" Kid's a born Red.
Just thought id let you guys know i was at the game on saturday and we were given frimpong some inevitable stick for his arsenal connection. I was in the shelf lower right near the pitch and you could see clear as day him turning to us and doing the w anker sign. It was absolutely blatant and yet ive heard absolutely no mention of it. After Suarez' ban for a similar gesture i thought frimpong was a very lucky man to have gotten away with this and its certainly not fair that he should get away with while suarez picked up a ban. I guess it could just be a case of the cameras not picking it up but it had me wodnering how much more the lesser players at clubs not in limelight can get away with everyweek. If balotelli had done it there'd be a witchhunt!
Frimpong is English (not born, but brought up here) mate, or at least an English international at youth level, they're allowed to do such things.
i just dont see how the cameras wouldve failed to pick it up though, i think it was roger johnson who came over to him and told him to calm down so it caused a little scene and it was right where the ball was in play while they were waiting for a free kick so the camera wouldve been in that area.
