The forum seems abit quiet today so I thought I'd get some discussion going hopefully.

If I was a bookies I'd stop taking bets on Hughton

I'd go with Hughton, whoever the Preston manager is now, or Corberan.

There is one "ITK" twitter account suggesting Hughton could be gone as soon as today

He must be on a lot of money for you, so the pay off would be quite large I imagine.

Apparently his contract is up at the end of this season - that's according to the numerous Forest fans who want him out and are hoping this will mean it can be done easily. What they fail to consider is the fact that paying a manager off will impact FFP but then this is the same Forest lot who've wanted managers gone for the last 20 years without failing to spot the fact that doing this doesn't change anything

The "ITK" is reporting that it will either be announced before 12noon today or after the Stoke game (subject to us losing). For some reason no journos seem to have picked up on this.......

I think he's been doing a poor job but surely sacking him after 3 games would be a bit mad? Just reminds me of what you did last season...why give someone all summer to build & train the team then sack them so soon?

    We do it every season
The average for survival for a Forest manager over the last 21 years is around 8 months. 21 years of doing the same thing without it actually improving us (barring the odd season of playoff excitement) and our fans still want to head down the same route now. They're ****ing deluded but you can't argue the toss with them because all you get is a stroppy "oh, so you're happy with relegation then".

Lots of fans commented about how toxic the CG was the other night with plenty saying it wasn't enjoyable to be sat around people constantly abusing and booing their own players. I'm amazed any player wants to play for the club - one look on Twitter would be enough to put me off. Maybe Harry Arter had a point after all when he supposedly put Dan Gosling off joining us

To be fair we haven't let Hughton build his own team at all with all the behind the scenes changes at the club, I don't think he fits in with the new CEO's ethos either and there is already rumblings of discontent between them both so there's only one way this is heading!

I'm 100% sure that the new CEO would have already sounded out a few off his shortlist. Hughton was only ever going to last this season anyway once the new guy arrived.

One things for sure though, those fans calling for the likes of Howe, Wilder etc are going to be disappointed when an unknown European manager rocks up

Based on what you said, I went to put a bet on by Skybet only have odds for the Premiership next to be sacked.

The postman will be gone if we lose to Posh on Saturday. I’d sack him even if we win tbh.

6/1 for Carlos! I'm honestly struggling to think when was the last time we played well. we extended his contact at xmas and have won a grand total of 4 games since!

Not sure what team Forest had out, probably second string and maybe Wolves fancy this competition as an outside shot at a trophy. But those stats are absolutely horrendous for Hughton.
