After last night's debacle against a hard working, high pressing team I have little optimism for this tie. At least we'll have our talisman Fernandes back, though it looks like Martial is injured yet again after his traditional 2 games back.

I'd like to think ten Hag will take action against de Gea and finally drop him, but he won't.

The bookies have Brighton favourites for this, and I don't blame them.

I expect a reaction from the team after that, but I agree and think Brighton will have too much for us.

Brighton will be missing a few of their players I think

I reckon Brighton will freeze but win the League match. But I believe as Upper has mentioned they're missing some players.

Assuming Varane isn't back for this I'd go

    Butland
    AWB Lindelof Shaw Dalot
    Casemiro
    Eriksen Bruno
    Antony Rashford Sancho
    Can't say I'm confident.

I'd agree apart from Sancho - waste of space.

Brighton are probably the better team, and we looked exhausted last night. So both those combined, I think they already have the final in the bag.

What would sting United fans more losing today or getting through and losing to City in final? I'm assuming the latter? That's the problem realistically speaking whoever wins today will ultimately get beat by the cheats.

Still favour United here Brighton fresher side no doubt but United's experience should see them through.

    Game prediction: 1-0 United.

Definitely wouldn't want to lose to City in the Final.

De Gea, Lindelof, Fernandes, Martial, Rashford, Eriksen, Casemiro, Dalot, Antony, Shaw, Wan-Bissaka

    Probably would've started Malacia.

    No Centre Backs. None.

Losing in the final to city would of course be devastating, especially if it meant they won the Treble, but whilst we would only have a slim chance of winning the cup if we played them we'll have zero chance if we aren't even there.

Weirdly confident. Back line is obviously poor but our best midfield is available and Rashford back.
