First away win of the season hmmm maybe not but for some reason and god knows why:confused i have a feeling we will get a point at Old Trafford, maybe its just meant to be

and there has been only one away game this season iv said we would get a point out of pre match and that was Man City so watch this space:whistle

anyway i have know idea how the team will play or who they will play for that matter, but i cant imagen Dobson changing it to much tbh.

Wouldnt suprise me if they started Guerrero for this one, with either eagles or him terrerising the low on confidence and out of form wes brown.

my prediction even if it is some what delusional is

    Manchester United 1-1 Burnley

I have my tickets for this game. I was negative about the match at Turf, look what happened there.

So I think we will lose 5-0!

UTC! You taking a coach Mikeyyy?

Had my tickets for this game sorted a while back. Lad i go the games with well his boss is a Utd fan got one of the boxes. He sorted the tickets costing us 100notes each. Mental maybe but you only live once.

Now is as good a time as any to play Utd, dont expect us to get anything out of the game but who knows:whistle hopefully we'll have a new manager in place by then. (Donny manager please). so i'll be mixing with the prawn butty crew shame i wont be able to cheer IF we score

No will be getting in the car, only use coach for long distance games.

Gatti, if we score just go mental, it will be worth it.

And like you said hopefully there's a new manager to lead us out (Curbs, Coppell or SOD for me), but I don’t want us to rush into getting someone on the cheap.

Would be typical of us to get our first away win of the season v Man U. Might put a cheeky fiver on Eagles to score against his old club and for us to win 1-0, wonder what the odds are on that. :whistle

My first trip to Old Trafford, have you guys been before? If so, is it as great as I think it will be? Or will I be a bit disappointed?

you wont be dissapointed Turf,i got a free ticket last season to see them play west ham on a night game.that was my first visit to OT the sheer size of the place is amazing.
it looked great with a full house and thousands of cameras constantly flashing around the ground, and the noise is great to.

the only thing i didnt like was it just didnt quite have the same lets say romance as some other grounds do if you know what i mean its to commercial there are too many adverts, brands splashed every where, its like the stadium is constantly trying to flog you somthing whether its a united credit card or plane ticket ,to a simple bud beer.
but i suppose thats what brings the coin in.
but its probobly like that at all the top 4 grounds tbf.

anyway im still sticking with my prediction, but knowing me on the day ill be expecting a good drumming.

I'm expecting Man Utd to join Rochdale, Scunthorpe, Plymouth, Coventry and Cardiff, in the exclusive list of teams Brian Laws has beat this season.

It'll be interesting to see what Laws says in his post match interview.

Gutted. Thought we were excellent today (not for the first time away this season by any means) and missed chances cost us - the scoreline certainly flattered United. Fletcher should have put us 1 up, then guilt edge misses from Nugent, Eagles should have scored after a great run and Thompson hit the post when he should have scored. Same old story away from home but lots of positives. Only Laws first game so we'll see where we go now but Edgar looked good for me (finally he gets a game!) and I was pleased to see us being positive in our formation. 3-0 looks bad from the outside, but certainly not too upset..

We contributed plenty to the game and its a shame it had to end 3nil really,. Beast for me was at fault for that 3rd goal. Had Fletcher taken his chance and David Nugent his at 0-0 could have been interesting. Seems to be a thing we say in a lot of the games, that chance Nugent put wide he looked to hit it with the wrong part of the foot. Eagles was our best player i thought but cant fault any of them outfield players and if we putthat sort of graft in against some of the lesser sides on the road we should pick some points up.

Duff and Edgar looked as solid a centreback pairing as we've had in there this season and tbh even when the likes of Bikey, Caldwell and Carlisle are back these two should keep their spots. Edgar impressed me on his debut. With Utd getting atus so much down either wing i always had the feeling it was only a matter of time before Utd scored.

Just hope Steve Fletchers injury isnt too serious otherwise any goalscoring threat will be gone. He walked off down the tunnel though so fingers crossed its a couple of games out at tops..

I reckon any Burnley fan who went te game yesterday wont be too down hearted with what they saw.

Thought we played really well and if we had taken one of those 3 early chances then it would have been a different game, but we didn’t and Man U aren’t champions of England for nothing and they got the result they where looking for.

That was definitely one of the funniest games I’ve been to, some hilarious chants coming from us and we didn’t stop singing. Was best when we where 2-0 down and we all started jumping up and down like we had scored!

And now I’ve witnessed Old Trafford I can agree with many Blackburn fans I’ve spoken to, definitely one of the quietest home fans I’ve ever witnessed. “Just like being in Chuch!”

F*ck me they were so quiet! The only time they piped up is when we started singing "Wheres your money gone" and they unfurled that "Love MU and Hate Glazer" banner. Some of the songs we sang were fantastic though. I was really proud to be a claret! We were very loud as usual and even when we started losing we carried on.

1-0 and your still not singing!

    UTC!
