    Will he figure much this season. Have him in my draft game as I think he'll carry on how he left last season. Richie and Arter will figure as well id imagine.

    This is quite a topic of discussion right now. He's been our left winger without question for years now, and I'd say there's a good chance he'll start the season there. However the of attacking midfield signings we're making, might suggest Howe comes down on the "Pugh maybe not good enough for PL' side of the debate. Or at least that he won't start every game every week, he'll have stiff competition.

    I'd be more confident of picking Ritchie or Arter as starters every week (although Arter is an injury doubt for the early stages of the season).

    Agree with Nutter, as much as I like Pugh, he will have his doubters going into the season. He performed at Championship level week in week out so its up to him to see if he can do it at this level too. I do personally think that we will still see Pugh most weeks, he provides decent cover for marauding left backs whether that be Daniels or Mings, anyone else doesn't seem to give as much defensively as he does. A true work horse.
