Hopefully MLS will have some sense, reverse the result and ban the homophobe.

I believe they chose to walk off the previous week because one of their players was racially abused as well. And there are people out there who say there's no problems with this sort of bigotry and wonder why people make such a big deal of it. Unreal!

Good on them for making a stand against this sort of disgusting, vile abuse from a disgusting, vile homophobe and a disgusting, vile racist.

They did the right thing, nothing will ever change in football unless teams take more drastic action when they’re players are being abused

Landon Donovan actually went and spoke to the other coach to tell him what was going on (the other coach was fully aware of what happened) And said if you don’t take him off we’re not coming back on. The other coach rejected the idea so they had to take action

Ah yes because being allowed to use homophobic slurs and racism is what makes it a ‘mans game’

You will notice that the person you responded to had already previously posted a response in this thread. Unfortunately for him he failed to get a response, and as he is clearly hungry for attention today, he then had to post another response to try and gain that attention.

Now you've given him that attention we can all hope that he's full up and ****s off for a few hours, but I fear you will have just given him a taste for it now :(

Not your fault of course, I blame the admin team for not putting a zoo style sign on said user which says 'DO NOT FEED THE DICKHEAD'

OK. Let's stay on topic here. Not arsed with another session of ganging up on one poster, regardless of their provocations.
