    To be honest with you I think that it's beneficial that you've posted why they've been banned and how long for, so other members who are thinking along the same lines know what's in store for them if they do the same, and (as you say) to stop speculation and needless threads.

    Just thought i'd give my opinion. :)

    Believe it or not I actually agree with you Kelly infact I'd go as far to suggest that a thread of this nature be made a sticky.....We are all curious after all and wanna hear the gossip and rather than have the rumours flying around a straight response from the admin would nip it in the bud......

    A useful thread this.

    I didn't see the image, but it still amazes me that members think they can get away with things like that. He seemed quite funny but obviously not all that intelligent...

    A lot of people did not see the post and they are unhappy about the punishment handed down to Ash (who was a decent guy ) so moderaters could you please explain what the offensive material was it would help people understand as a few people are now scared to post now in case the also get banned for trying to have a laugh.

    Ahh Scrumpy made me laugh at times, but can totally see why he was banned, although I missed the abusive comments.

    The message might just now get across that the AUP is there for a reason.The standard of posting in FT has been as poor as it has ever been recently and that has got to change.
