Ebbsfleet and Gateshead keep our dream alive please

 

Our mystery destination for the Halifax v Oldham is this week sometime somewhere

 

Our radio commentator said LNER could be hoisting Halifax v Oldham game next week.
Def sounds like contact has been made.

 

I'm hoping there's nothing on it for Oldham anyway.

 

Somehow win again against Eastleigh on Tuesday and we’re mathematically safe.

 

Didn't realise Ebbsfleet were right back in the relegation scrap again. I was hoping they'd be showing up with little to play for and disinterested. Tough old game Tuesday for us aswell.

 

Halifax playing Oldham at Chesterfield on Thursday. Means they effectively have to play Tuesday night, Thursday night and Saturday lunchtime away.

Hard to see us winning at both Gateshead and Dagenham, but if we did Halifax would still need to win 2/3 to finish ahead of us

To be fair I don't see you winning at Gateshead so we might only need to win one of the next 2 to rule you out and in that aswell that would rule everyone else out.

But If you don't win at Gateshead 2 draws would do aswell to pretty much rule everyone out heading to the final day.

We ****ed it yesterday but you did aswell. Southend are on some run but I think they've just run out of games.

 

Our only chance is that Gateshead go strong tomorrow, and they are absolutely exhausted before a 4th game in 6 days against us on Wednesday.

Tuesday's the key one, if you win that it'll mentally finish us off. If you drop points, it might give us enough hope for Wednesday

 

Will be very Aldershot to go up there two weeks in a row and it be postponed last minute both times

 

Maybe you can play it in Chesterfield? Chesterfield have been on a beach in the canaries for the last 3 weeks anyway so it won't really bother them.

 

Southend would still be in with a sniff if you only get 2 draws - bottle it the final day against Eastleigh & they’ll nick it in that situation.

Really hope us beating you doesn’t let Southend sneak in, sure you can get 3 points in those 3 games though.

 

If we can't then we don't deserve the play offs.

Like I've said before though. If 95% of this league knew how to play football we'd be 19th.

 

Only reason we are not already resting players and preparing for the play offs is Ron Martin. 4th if he'd have not tried to be clever and knocked all and sundry.

The fact we are still in this discussion is unbelievable and a testament to the attitude, determination and durability of this squad and management team. Especially the original squad of 16.

I think Gateshead might get a bit of a bounce back performance from us tonight. Apparently Cook was absolutely fuming with them after last game. Suspect a few got some real harsh words about their future here.
